Advices

Fender Rust

Pop the seat and clean the hidden parts of the rear fender from time to time. Even if you garage the bike, you will end up with rust spots from condensation.

Side Cover Grommets

Spray the rubber grommets that hold the side covers to the top of the frame with silicone lubricant before reinstalling.

Replacement Hadlebars

If you replace the handlebars, be aware that the clamps may not firmly hold a standard 7/8" bar in place. Shimming with thin strips of aluminum does the trick.
